    There is some strange formula about when it is - it's the first Sunday of the first full moon after the spring start (which is on March 22nd). So Easter is usually between 21st of March and 25th of April. However there is another rule that it can't be in the same day as the Jewish Easter, and if that happens - ours is moved one week later. So that's why this year it's in May (it's very rare indeed).

    Yes, because the Easter was invented by the Chinese...
    Dogma never makes sense.

  • @Maounique maybe it's because both ceremonies start in Jerusalem and it's not convenient if they overlap? Don't know.

    Nope, it's the antisemitism of the eastern church which doesnt make the efforts to hide it like the others.
