We do have a dedicated server for our VPN service from them.
Their network quality is excellent and traffic limits are negotiable.
In addition they offer various payment methods.
Servers are hosted at AS31400 in Frankfurt: http://www.accelerated.de/en/network

We can highly recommend noez.de, if you are looking for a lowpriced server in Central Europe with a good network.

  • Is there english support staff?

I find this a great solution for an off-site backup.

Agree. Although not exactly backup-vps, 100GB is enough for me. If I find it fast and responsive, maybe I'll use it later for something more. Anyway 11.40€/y is very good price...

They don't advertise so but I guess it depends who's in charge of your request. Phone support should work in French too.
It's a German provider so you can only expect them speaking a European language.

I contacted them in German as that's just as easy for me but they do speak English.

  • Is this DMCA free?

  • As goes for most European companies, they probably don't care about DMCA. It's an USA thing. Talking about copyrighted or illegal content is a whole different matter. I'm not German and no expert in German law but going from what I know about German laws they'd definitely shut you down if you run anything illegal or copyright infringing.

Does someone know if they offer FreeBSD? They offer only Linux distros?

EDIT: I guess not. On their community forums there is no occurrence of word FreeBSD.

Just ask the support to add it and give them the download link. They usually add it if it's an official version.
