but you aint managed scaleway yet :)

Unfortunately there is no way to support Scaleway as all of their VM's and Server's boot from the network to grab their kernel. You can't even run your own kernel on their systems let alone run something like Windows - physically impossible for now.

Once they allow users to boot from the local disk (VM/Dedi) then it will likely be possible.

They should do what OVH does, all OVH servers network boot, but then the script/etc that it loads then tells it whether or not to boot from the hard drive, recovery, or network from what is specified using the manager, it's a pretty nice system and works on almost everything as no BIOS access is needed to change boot order.

meh, they just need to have the machines boot from their disk just like everyone else does. Doing their own things like this is just annoying and not being able to run your own kernel is very limiting to say the least.

What if you want to run CloudLinux for example?

What happened to joodle.nl website? The original owner has changed names (@BlazeMuis) for a few times and banned from here.. Was MS suing him for something? Or he distributed templates with viruses?

myhken said: @BlazeMuis (old Joodle) have make a really good guide how you can do it, and he have helped me before when I started to make my own templates.

Its still online and he still has templates.

  • Probably still begging for money. Wait for someone to hit you up via privmsg.

  • Anyone has mirrors of these templates or atleast similar ones working on dedis? These moneywhores want $5 to get access to the templates which is not acceptable.
