@Jacob (AboveClouds) seems like a nice guy, he has some pretty fast and well-structured support responses at least. Also, very cheap.
@jacob, @dediserve, @alexanderm (hostus), @quadhost, @clouvider are some good and reliable options in general.
Thanks for the mention!

Check 1pwh.uk too, as for their small annual boxes http://xen-servers.com/yearly-pv.php
https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/91913/alphavps-openvz-kvm-vps-and-dedicated-server-offers-in-sofia-london-or-ny#latest - we have some nice annual low-end offers out of London. Feel free to message me, if you need something custom tailored!
And make sure to give @clouvider a call if you need real cloud server or a dedicated machine.
@davidgestiondbi -- I've been pretty impressed with Gestiondbi -- I'm using their lower-end Deepnet solutions VPS and have found them to be quite good. Can't complain about the price either...
this man, recommended
I already have a server with Dedistation and it's awesome, I want to try other providers though :P
They uses Cloudiver on UK Premium
Thank you for the mention
@rocket We don't require customers to pay annually in order to benefit from low prices, you can also get a further 60% discount using the promotion code "LEBCLOUD".
Minimum deposit is £2.50 and virtual machines are billed hourly.
You can see more here
Ditto.
https://lowendbox.com/blog/loveservers-25year-openvz-512mb-ram-20gb-hdd-500gb-bw-in-manchester-uk/
Just to clarify, the promo code LEBCLOUD is only valid for new customers/registrations and cannot be used to top-up credit for existing customers, right?
Besides that I can also recommend ArubaCloud. For that price tag you cannot expect support with a personal touch, but tickes were processed quite well. Though I didn't have to open that much, yet. And the service itself runs really smooth. Their UK DC is located in Slough.
The mentioned promotion code is valid for new and existing customers with no limitations on usage, you could spin up 15 virtual machines with a 60% discount
@Infinity Amazing service, and he's not scared of a custom offer
And how to redeem it properly?
At least where I usually top-up my ArubaCloud credit (cart.arubacloud.com), I am unable to apply your promo code.
HAHAHA, please go and read the thread again. aboveclouds <->arubacloud ;-) ;-)
WTF. Why are there so many providers out there ending with ...cloud, and they all sound so similiar. :-O Even worse to mention several of them within one LET thread.
Thanks for giving me that hint.
Loveservers.com is pretty decent. I only really use it for a private VPN but it's solid as a rock from my experience.
Newbie question: does this mean you can power off the VM and you only get charged for when it's on? Thanks.
Unfortunately not as the resources are still regarded as in use.
@Jacob
I deployed a 1vcpu core instance:A and a 4vcpu core instance:B, is it normal that A's cpu MHz is 2260.916 while B's cpu MHz is 565.255?
That is CPU Dynamic/Auto Scale. Ignore that, should you need to burst it'll scale automatically.
For me it has to be @dediserve
Rock solid network and servers - haven't had any problems with them.
@quadhost has decent pool of locations, UK location is fast
