  • @dominicl support tickets are about a service you already bought or are about to buy, and when talking with the provider of that service.

Since im not a provider, im just giving him some advice so he decide which host to buy.

    so...

    chill.

I read some where that we need to be france citizen to order server with them.

And now i have these in mind

    WireSix or ColoCorssing or LeaseWeb

  • nope

im from chile, bought with legit info and ip.

    no problem at all.

Either of those are great. LeaseWeb's network is good but you'll get better support with WireSix/ColoCrossing.

  • i absolutely hate leaseweb. but a lot of folks bouch for them... so dont know.

why i hate them: horrible support, horrible payment platform, horrible vps / server manager platform.

last but most important: they are so big they dont give a shit about you.

  • @dominicl indeed. Leaseweb network is superb

If in Atlanta, then not long at all. I'm not sure how long though.

    You have servers with them?
And how long it will take to server get delivered?

In my opinion that kind of test means nothing... but anyways... here it go.

    user@boxFR:~$ ./speed --share
    Retrieving speedtest.net configuration...
    Retrieving speedtest.net server list...
    Testing from Free SAS (88.191.xxx.xx)...
Selecting best server based on ping...
Hosted by TestDebit.info (Massy) [15.77 km]: 75.738 ms
    Testing download speed........................................
    Download: 216.78 Mbit/s
    Testing upload speed..................................................
    Upload: 21.10 Mbit/s
    Share results: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2610286835.png

    @nvtienvn WHAT?

  • WireSix is unmanaged, for that price it's only to be expected. You should know exactly what you're doing

So every dedicated server comes with unmanaged like ovh , leaseweb and hetzner.

Do they have panel to do remote installation and rescue mode?

  • Read on their homepage =.=!

  • RyanDRyanD Member

Not sure where it's coming from, no there is not a $5/support ticket charge.

However, yes, it is unmanaged. Beyond installing the OS we do not provide software support.

    The$5.00 charge is/was on http://wiresix.com/company.html at 2013-03-31
Perhaps a remnant from another time?

  • @cloromorpho
Do you need to send any document to them to verify your account?

  • Do you need to send any document to them to verify your account?

I've just order one, and they don't need verify my account, not yet. In their client page i can't find "close ticket" button =.=!

few months ago, i opened a ticket at online.net, they said only sell to french users, the unique payment method was wire transfer.

    something changed?

  • earlearl Member

    @iberx said: something changed?

Thats what I thought as well but if you sign up there is a big selection of countries so maybe it has been changed? I put in a ticket about 3 days ago regarding removing VAT but no answer as of yet! they might be worst than OVH at least OVH only took 2 days to reply!

  • @picy do you still need a server?

  • picypicy Member
