Which OS, which Skype version?
I have a few bugs in my Linux version 4.3.0.37, like not being able to share screen or have group chats.

Windows 10 @ Skype for Desktop, latest version.
Forgot to specify the OS, sorry.
Group chats are not available (audio works/no video) on the Linux Skype client.
@MrGeneral: Try a cleanup with CCleaner and then reinstall Skype. Skype leaves all kinds of stuff on your drives/registry even after uninstalling.
Yea, I was pointed to an alternate beta version that is supposed to work well. Haven't found out if that's the case.
You can try this one https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/messaging-skype/9wzdncrfjbq6 if you really need to use skype before you fix the desktop one.
I had this issue before. I have no idea what I did to make it work, but it did.
Uninstall Skype and use another piece of software.
Sorry it's not an answer but honestly Skype is a lost cause now a days
it's fine for me (after last update) in windows 10

Yep, just had this happen before I saw the thread
Time to try our slack maybe. Allo has no desktop client.
IS it solved there?
We use Slack too, but my clients don't come to our Slack. They'll fix this today, hopefully!
