CloudVPS is 10 years old
One of my favorite dutch VPS companies is 10 years old as of yesterday, according to their newsletter. There is a special Dutch site, http://www.cloudvps10jaar.nl/, but our overlords haven't put up the .com version yet.
Started as 'panelsix', a software development house 10 years ago trying to develop a control panel, OpenPanel (https://i.imgur.com/cBCkhyz.png, dead since a few years but GPL: https://github.com/CloudVPS?page=1&query=openpanel&utf8=✓) then transitioned into a Xen PV company (XL Internet) and now also doing Hyper V (XLS Hosting) and OpenStack (KVM) (final name, CloudVPS) in the Netherlands. (The privacy aspect is focused on a lot...)
But, the thing I wanted to share, is that the cheapest VPS on OpenStack, normally 7,50 EUR, gets 10% off so it's now EUR 6,75, making this fall in Lowendbox pricing. The discount is only promoted on the Dutch site, but if you order something and in the last comment field enter something like '10% discount pls' it will be applied, at least that is what's been told. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post offers, but this isn't a special offer for LET/LEB, just a generic discount until sept. 10'th. It's for both all Xen PV servers, Hyper V and OpenStack, but OpenStack is the only one that fits in LEZ[B/T] range...
I do most of my OpenStack articles on their platform since when I started doing OpenStack they were the only Dutch provider offering it publicly...
