Just a basic bench.sh script, if you'd do that for me :-)

    Thank you very much, @Lee!

And damn, that hostname is hilarious! :P

Looks pretty decent, and it's a KVM.

Will investigate and probably order a VPS once my CC arrives.

    Thank you!

  • Do they cap at ~200-250 Mbps?

  • Very happy fiberoute customer here :)

    Highly recommended!

  • Amitz said: Do they cap at ~200-250 Mbps?

250 is the default - however, the vNIC Speed can be increased at any time.

I saw your post and saw an opportunity. I just rented a dedi and install cPanel in a VPS for you. I'll have an order page up tomorrow. We're a world famous company, been in business for 67 years. PM me for offer.

Commonly, I pay VPS with PP without active CC.
    All depends on the provider

I'm aware, but we need our CC to arrive so we can activate our PP :)

@onepound hasn't been advertising here for ages,
but I've had 365+ days of uptime on their Xen HVM(sorry it's not KVM, but still true virtualization )
Disks may not be SSD; i think it's a 8-10 disk SAS RAID10 judging from the 1500+ directio read iops

    CPUs are fast E3-1270/1

I can't tell the difference really, in 21months.

If Ramnode had a UK PoP, I wouldn't be able to tell it apart from Stuart 's operation.

I think he sleeps under the DC cages.

    There's also @dediserve' s current $6.99 2gb kvm offer until aug30/31.Edit:offer closed by host

Disclaimer :I have no experience with either of their London DCs yet. (I'm in Frankfurt and Amsterdam for latency reasons)

Please kindly apply for a provider tag before. You know, sake of good order and all that. I can also get you an interview on LEB for cheap, if you would like. Might boost your business! <3

didn't think to do a whois on them but I've been using them around 6 months and haven't had any issues.

If anyone does need to send me further offers can you please pm @digitalfyre who will handle all replies.

  • LeeLee Veteran

So anyway, on a serious note for a change.

Thanks again for all the offers, that still keep coming with the wrong location and spec.

I went with @digitalfyre as I have been in touch with Ahmed for about a year or something, had some good chats over that time on Skype. Checked into his company before and seems to run a solid and reliable shop.

Got a really nice deal for $30 a month on his UK OnApp platform and whilst it's of course very early days it's a got a nice feel to it already.

Clouvider was my next option then fiberoute, all I am sure would have been a sterling alternative.
