Are there any good VPS providers that allow tor exit nodes? Unmetered traffic would be a huge plus.

Very doubtful anyone will allow this given things that happened not so long ago.

Relays are usually fine. And the network needs more relays then exits as it is today, so my recommendation would be to do that instead.
Exit nodes get the owner into deep trouble.. @william_edis is currently fighting a law case and was even mentioned on the BBC as a 'austrian' with 'child pornography'.
Even though he didn't do it, clearly. The law on exit nodes and who is responsible is a grey area at best.
What happened to that guy that came on here asking for donations due to the same issue or was that William? Had his home raided, etc.. @eastonch

False they changed ther TOS, Realy is allso not more allowed.

Note that a lot of these judgments are years old and may not reflect current policy for a given ISP. You'd be better off asking this question on the tor-relays mailing list.
Those who are as easily spooked as @eastonch might want to consider an alternate method of helping, e.g. contribute financially to torservers.net or similar organization.
Just run a relay. Exit nodes are a million more times trouble, and since relays typically will eat all bandwidth you can give them, it means they are certainly needed in the network at the moment.
There are 2 ways to help now:
1. Donations to an NGO that hosts exits on their own IP space and all;
2. Run relays that take off this burden from the exits operated by said NGOs and dont generate any complaint. Note that some providers reject relays too because they use a lot of bandwidth even tho they generate 0 abuse and risks.
If you can offer some mail ports (except 25 which is blocked by default anyway) and some chat and streaming ports for foreign media blocked in many countries it would be a plus and very low risk but the providers will probably not allow it, better do it from home if you have a suitable connection.
No port is blocked as relay.
Yes, I meant in case of relays with some low risk ports open.
That is the setup I run at home, relay with mail, chat and streaming exits allowed. No IRC, though.
