edited July 2016 in Requests

Hi I'm looking for a cheap VPS located in Canada, preferably a yearly plan.

I will be using it for private VPN only.

Bandwidth ~500GB

OpenVZ or KVM is fine

CentOS 6 or 7 must be supported

I don't have Paypal nor bitcoin, I can pay through Skrill, 2checkout, stripe, etc..

How much Trump Dolla do you want to spend? Monthly or can you pay yearly? Do you mind if its OVH, etc?

@davidgestiondbi has some cheap yearly plans but if you can use Ipv4 NAT VPS then LES would be a good fit price will be 3$/year

    Website(prices are in CAD) : https://www.deepnetsolutions.com/nat-vps.html

+1 for GDBI, but I'm just going to chip in, while im at it.

In fact, I would rather use a shared IP for VPN, since more users on a node would mean that you're harder identifiable, if privacy is the reason of your VPN usage.

However, there comes some negative aspects. Some websites limit usage using IP addresses. Some just block access from such IPs (known VPN/proxy lists?). I would be better off using a dedicated IP if it's something secretive too, like internet banking.

At the end of the day, it all depends on your usage - NAT VPSes might decrease your bill tremendously if you don't need that dedicated v4. But as a paranoid move, I would just run OpenVPN over IPv6 on a NAT VPS, while disabling v4 on my client machine to prevent IP leaks, though.

    Good luck!

    OVH is fine...

I prefer a LET. I'll go for LES if I can't find any LET.

I prefer yearly. The cheaper the better. I'm thinking around $10/year.

    Thanks.
