  • Seems like Moscow rented IP space:

    route: 213.183.54.0/24

    descr: Melbicom route

    origin: AS56630

ISP is actually Lithuanian (wtf) - Sovam, Globalnet, Anders. Should be ok for local traffic and good for baltics, but you don't get the nice China routes from Sovam/Rostelecom.

    Location wise, vStoike is cheaper.

Didn't Russia just pass a new law requiring all providers to log all of their user's traffic data for a year? PIA got their server(s) in Russia seized by the government for not logging traffic or something.

    Yep.

"The Russian Government has passed a new law that mandates that every provider must log all Russian internet traffic for up to a year. "

Also something with an encryption ban.

Yes, in "normal" criminal code - for some other crimes (federal, military) you could get that already anyway, besides that it would not matter in a dictatorship system of peace authoritarian government.

Anders for now seems to pretty much ignore the DNS censorship and runs around in circles (same with some others), not sure if there is another hole in this one to exploit (this one fixes the "Business customers").

Keep in mind also enforcement in Russia/Eastern europe... varies. Some law in/from Moscow is not necessarily enforced in Dagestan or Chechnya, for various reasons (Priority, Availability, Safety and so on).

Yea, they keep fucking up such and similar things in the last few months. I once ordered a server form them, got cancelled immediately without notice.
