Hi folks,

do you know of any colocation providers, that have special offers for mini computers like the Raspberry PI (or any other from @raymii's small low cost linux pc list? I only know of Edis.at having a free offer in austria (click), but do you know any other?
I was hoping to find something below 10€/month in western europe [DE, NL, FR, IT, ES, PT, BE, LU, AT, CH, UK, IS].
Any interesting offers?

    Hi Chrisp,

If you're interested we can do you a nice offer (NL Datacenter). Just send us a PM or email and i'm sure we can give you a great offer.

False, the offer is still for free at Edis.

  • Yeah, but Edis is in australia (or atleast according to the OP) and he wants one in western europe.

I'm still searching for a correct power usage, I might buy colo for it myself and maybe can rent some space to someone else.

Did you mean Austria? I highly doubt it is in Australia, bandwidth there is quite expensive and it if was, all the .au people here would be flocking to it. Ohh, and Austria is in Europe.

http://www.edis.at/en/server/colocation/austria/raspberrypi/ is still showing free, perhaps they forgot to update the page?

Well, atleast I can keep my name in the topic title on the irc.

We can colocate it for you here in the US, in Novato, CA.
How much bandwidth do you need and what are you going to be doing with it?

    Which city?

  • @ztec, he said it's Dronten, Flevoland -> Serverius

  • It is Serverius indeed,

They are asking (if I'm allowed to say it in public) 7.5euros

To all the people talking about Edis:

"We are currently out of stock on this item so orders for it have been suspended until more stock is available. For furthur information, please contact us."

  • @RobertClarke yeah, i think they stopped offering it when RIPE ran out of IPs.

  • @Mun said: Which DC is in Novato, CA?

HomeDC, with only the finest Comcast bandwidth.

  • @taronyu said: Yeah, but Edis is in australia

Also everything is upside-down in the Edis data center

  • @vedran said: is still showing free, perhaps they forgot to update the page?

Oh... last time I talked to @William he told me they stopped offering free colocation. They could have changed it again.

  • @Liam said: would be willing to offer paid colo.

    No.
