Comments
beware, the speed is terrible in RO and my vps offline now
Can you PM with your IP to check the reason why your VPS is offline?
Total Due Today: $1.19 USD
Total Recurring: $1.49 USD Monthly
Super bad network speed
You're right.
Such bad pricing for KVM
here's the Looking Glass with download file and test-ping: http://lg.hostmaze.com/
already online but the speed is still horrible. I don't expect too much from $1.xx vps hosting with unmetered speed. You get what you pay.
Speed depends on the location. Can you post a screenshot?

Guys you're so mean.
Can you perform a speedtest now? We fixed the speed problem.
tl;dr Speeds were amazing for the price and location...But seems it was too good to be true. I'd guess the node is throttled now, since speed limits seem consistent and precise.
Pic generated by speedtest-cli, #4 in these benches:
On August 1, I got this email ^. Ever since, network speeds are under 400KB/s (even Hostmaze's own looking glass). Before, SFTP and wget exceeded 5 MB/s. Aria2c even snatched a Linux ISO torrent in the 20 MB/s range.
I opened a ticket, provided MTR and other info. Admin said it was fixed. (It isn't.) I've since reconfigured networking (in SolusVM) and even reinstalled the OS. No improvement.
Net speeds are clearly no longer Gigabit as advertised. Unless my node just broken or saturated.
Update: I guess it all started in late July, actually. Here are the SolusVM charts:
