Well, its annoying, im even thinking to transfer my domain to namecheap so i can get the free whois protection as well.
They only provide access to a few of the zone files and zero whois information. Services like EasyWhoisPro are what a lot of people use for getting massive amounts of whois data for newly registered domain names.
Get whois privacy for your domain name to avoid it.
Probaly they buy list of new domains register,(P.S i olso recive this emails) and they make legit email marketing the only solutions is to block them.
