Decent Open Source Mail Archiving solution ?

Helo, what interesting options do we have for archiving emails for my clients ?

I would like to setup a own hosted solution for multi-domain with acces per domain / user and if possible open source. If Postfix better ... I just adore Postfix !

Thanks ;)

Depends - how long do you want to keep them archived for?

Simplest way in theory would just be copy the mail directories, rsync them to "archive" server, then if they need mails that aren't there, pull them with a bash script.

I've used Piler and it was pretty good, I did switch to MailArchiva because it has some more features and you can use the full product when you have less than 20 mailboxes and since this is for personal use I don't ever plan on having 20 mailboxes on my system.

It has some integration features for exchange and I use that for my email. I also had to redo my email system and I wanted to try something new.
