Depends - how long do you want to keep them archived for?
Ideally forever and I shall be abble to setup a quota per client / domain ? :P
Simplest way in theory would just be copy the mail directories, rsync them to "archive" server, then if they need mails that aren't there, pull them with a bash script.
I have had success with Piler.. http://www.mailpiler.org/wiki/start
I've used Piler and it was pretty good, I did switch to MailArchiva because it has some more features and you can use the full product when you have less than 20 mailboxes and since this is for personal use I don't ever plan on having 20 mailboxes on my system.
Hum ... very interesting ! I'll try mailpiler for sure !
@CFarence Why did u stotch to MailArchiva? what were u missing ?
Thanks
It has some integration features for exchange and I use that for my email. I also had to redo my email system and I wanted to try something new.
Great, I'll try MailPiler for sure soon .... thanks again for the info !
