Dual SLI Bridge

Hello,

This is probably going to sound a tad dumb, but what would happen if i put a second bridge between my two GTX 1080s? The HB Bridge is said to increase bandwidth, so would putting two normal bridges on help at all?

Thanks.

  • Is there no answers?

  • Turns out 3DMark Firestrike performance went down (32704 down to 22074) Lovely. Better remove that second bridge.

  • You could ask these kind of questions/topics in 'The Cest Pit'
What i remember from your older thread you use one of those "flex" bridges those are not able to run in the higher 650MHz (new in pascal) link-speed and will just run at 400MHz, so you need either buy one of those newer kinds with LED's or just get one of the new High-Bandwidth bridges and you're able to use both connections (dual sli bridge) and run at full sli link speed.

    Thanked by 1NameTheseParts
