not just study but lots of projects ... and no worries ... if you have good memory linux is not that complicated ...

if you want to go deep get the book that linus used to learn and code linux on his amstrad MC68000 using assembly (tanenbaum operating systems) :)

some main portal site maybe can try
    linuxplanet.org
    inuxplanet.com/tutorials
    forums.justlinux.com/forum.php
    planet.debian.org/
    planet.fedoraproject.org/
    ...etc

But the most important thing, must have at least one book guide you really know what linux had systematically.

    e.g: http://tldp.org/LDP/intro-linux/html/

    then...

maybe one day in the future we can discuss this thread again...

  • Don't even try because after 5 years you'll realize that you actually don't know shit. If you're persistent and keep trying, after another 5 years you'll realize you REALLY don't know shit because deeper you dig into this stuff, more you begin to discover holes in your knowledge aka what else you need to learn. Wanting to become "expert" in Linux is for people who actually LOVE this and have no agenda behind it. You can't do it for the money kid, you'll only get burned that way.

Ghost is a nice name. Zombie would have been better.

    Thread resurrection day.

  • Get raspberrypi and play with arch every single time you have, they have completely wiki

  • At some point, after you're comfortable with the command line and general admin tasks, I'd suggest watching the CS162 lectures from UC Bekerley

There's a lot of misinformation and weird make-work suggested on forums. I think understanding how it works and being able to differentiate good and bad ideas is vital if you actually want to be considered an expert.

  • The only way to truly master linux is to go through LFS by memory

  • Hacking the Gibson is the only way to become truly 1337!!!1!11!
