tools to monitor servers port 80

hi guys,

I have a lot of servers (just IPs) and I need to monitor if the port 80 is work or not

there is any great cheap solution for this ? we mostly talk about +400 dedicated/IP

    What about a little server running Nagios? Nagios has a nice port 80 check, which is quite easy to setup as well.
    Nagios (core) is free to download.

    Alternatively try monit if you want to avoid the hassle to setup nagios.
