The Soyoustart has server rooms in North America and Europe, I want to know which location can be better connected to China. Thanks.

Should give you an indication on the differences.

I'd assume BHS, but you can test for yourself.

    bhs.proof.ovh.net - Canada

    gra.proof.ovh.net - Gravelines, France

    rbx.proof.ovh.net - Roubaix, France

You can run your usual tracert/ping tests there, as well as download files for speed testing.

Thank you. I will make a test later.

All three are about identical in regards to latency & packet loss. France is a bit better though it seems.

  • BHS is better to China in my experience.

BHS should be slightly better as it only goes though half of the globe.

But all of them are craps.

Aha. I was told that BHS was very crowded.

Might be. But Europe is further.

Yes, I will think about it. And how about Hetzner Compard to Soyoustart?

  • honestly ovh has good servers but somthing always seem to go wrong and the ddos attacks that came in kept my server down i mean yeah id use them but if u really need ddos protection then dont use OVH in my opinion

I won't even consider using European servers to serve Chinese users.

  • I can tell you:

China Unicom to BHS: China - USA - Canada

BHS to CU: Canada - USA - China

China Telecom to BHS: China - UK - Canada

BHS to CT: Canada - USA - China

CU to GRA/RBX/SBG: China - USA - Canada - France

GRA/RBX/SBG to CU: France - Canada - USA - China

    CT to GRA/RBX/SBG: China - UK/Germany - France

    GRA/RBX/SBG to CT: France - UK/Germany - China

Actually, I'm not using it to serve Chinese users. But I still hope it has good connection to China.

    That's, hmm, hopeless.
