Average SSD VPS Speed

in General
Hello,
I have purchased a ssd dedicated server and have virtualize it to create ssd vps.
I tested the speed of a demo vps and it came out as follows:

Is the speed decent? Or is it less.. Please review

Don't use speedtest.net to test server speeds. It is rarely accurate. It is designed for residential connections.
Anyother alternative?
What does network speed have to do with SSDs anyway? Or am I missing something?
Wait, Wait, Wait!!
Are you trying to use speedtest.net to test the speed of your SSD? Speedtest.net is intended to be used for the purpose of testing your network speeds and will have little to do with your SSD if any at all.
If you want to do a SSD speed test load it up with some common applications you run and see if they load to your liking. Watch top for
0.0 wa
which determines how long the CPU is waiting for resources from the disk. You can also use IOping or DD. However, DD has little relevance to actual speed thanks to how the tests are run. You can find more about the DD fallacy here: https://www.qwdsa.com/c/threads/the-dd-fallacy.46/In any case, I hope this helps.

aka wimpy satellite links
IOPS is more important in many cases
Next summer host here? Better wait until it's on Lowendbox with 1500 Mbit SSD's...
