    that freevps thing isnt really a benchmark just a simple speed test and cpu info

    for benchmark check here http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/search?q=N2800

    based on results it wont offer what you require, not to forget that slow ssd.

    Sure, as it's a blog I don't see an issue.

    Just ensure you're caching everything you can. If you accept comments, consider offloading that to Disqus - That'd probably be the only concern.

    Although there may be 200 visitors simultaneously, let's assume they spend... 1 minute(?) looking at each post. So that's 34 actions per second, nothing that extreme really.
    Furthermore, unless you're making loads of chances to each post, blogs tend to be relatively static so you can heavily cache content and reduce the load.

    You've got 10000 people visiting a day but aren't making enough revenue on it to buy a real server?

    Xcache or memcached ?

    What a great cache plugin is used ?

    Better snap the OVH SSD 2 and you can upgrade it to SSD 3 anytime.

    Tested using PHP 5.6+PHP opcache+wp super cache (using the recommended setting and preload everythings) + Cloudflare (cloud on). With 1500-2000 user online (google analytics) the ram usage is just around 1.5GB. And make sure the clear system cache regularly using cron (every 3 hours):

    free && sync && echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches && echo "" && free

    This is tested on real WP blog with many posts (hundreds) and not just a few pages.

    It could be a non profit site.

    You would even be fine with a $3.50 VPS from OVH.

    Indeed it could be, but non profit means just that. Note that "revenue" was the statement.
