Ecatel is now Novogara, l.o.l

Dear valued Customer,

We'd like to inform you that all services of Ecatel Ltd are taken over by a
new brand called Novogara Ltd with immediate effect..

The take-over includes Ecatel and all her subsidiaries,

Novogara will maintain the privacy and services of all Ecatel clients at
all costs and will continue offering Ecatel servers on the Internet.

What does this mean for existing customers:

  • Services will be improved
  • Support will be better and faster

  • New investments will be made in the Network. To make it bigger and more
    powerfull then it already is.

  • Phone support will be added

    Most likely is the case Ecatel have a big track record at housing copyrighted material spammers and hackers, would not surprise me if they are actually trying to avoid what you said they are, if they are capable of doing this god knows what lies they are capable of also. I'm sure they was bought out previous to this announcement ?

    it sound like me this way:

    novogara -> novogora -> novo gora (in croation) -> into english translation it is "new mountains" new mountains the all new warez sites can climb to :D :D

    I wonder where the new jurisdiction for the new company is?

    I'm amused by the existence of Ecatel, although I hate spam, in terms of existence of somewhat shadier content, it's more democratic to have the Internet this way.

    Furthermore, I was unable to find any pricing etc info for Ecatel in the last few years, their sites were outdated and messed up. Now I see this new rebranding has direct prices.

    Seems like it's still the UK (probably with ties in offshore UK-related countries as many (if no most) companies operating from another country with a front end in UK?).

    I have trouble understanding how such a company can operate from the UK with servers in NL, BREIN's home country...
