$40 Dedicated Server Request
I've been looking at some discussions on here and saw someone mention an Xeon for under $40/mo so i was wondering if anyone here could do me this/similar deal:
RAM: At least 8GB (preferably DDR3
HDD: At least 250 GB SATA
CPU: Preferably Intel, Xeon? Quad Core?
Network Transfer: 100 Mbps unmetered or 1 Gbps with at least 10TB bandwidth with no overage charges.
Max Budget: $42.00 USD per month, no contracts.. Maybe a one-time fee of no more than $60 to get an extra 4 or 8 GB RAM.
It doesn't have to be a brand new server, but it should be reliable enough to run for a few years.
PS: Must be able to run a couple minecraft servers, mysql, php etc etc. Reformats/reloads must be free. Must not have a crappy network like VolumeDrive, BurstNet. Must have pretty good support, but i'm fine with unmanaged.

Why do you have a tag of DDoS on this post?
@qps fixed
I suppose you want a dedicated port with that budget with a quad core? Sign me up.
@NickO nope, doesn't have to be dedicated.. but if it's a 1Gbps port i want at least 100 Mbps available all the time for use
HDD: At least 250 GB SATA
You're kidding right? Cheapest I can think of is volumedrive or datashack:

@curtisg Constantly having netwokr issues with VolumeDrive
@Zen tagging post with DDoS was a mistake. please ignore it
AMD an option? https://www.datashack.net/cart/?id=143
@smooch1502 if you want to raise your budget... staminus, blacklotus, awknet, fiberhub
No overage charges on a 1 Gbps port is not going to happen in your budget unless it is some kind of shared/best effort scenario like FDCServers.
@qps then a 100 Mbps port is fine..
Probably been posted here multiple times but here it is again.. It also comes with free IPMI so you can install your own OS remotely.

+1 for wholsaleinternet. I'm liking the one I have with them, so far. I'm using it to learn how to set up OpenVZ.
