Both. Cloud range had false claims about dedicated cores, IPv6 capability etc. Dedi range about ECC RAM and KVM over IP stuff
I was only talking about the Scaleaway stuff - the 'dedicated cloud' servers aren't actually dedicated?
They are.
So where are the cores that aren't dedicated then?
Cloud vps
But it doesn't say they're dedicated.
Am I missing something?
So serious that one guy filed a police report.
What does that have to do with the pony?
It did on (and before) 12th of april, and the archive.org version of that got removed for some reason...
Still says it for me?
Those are the 'baremetal' offers. AFAIK it said dedicated cores on the VPS offers on online.net site before they fixed it.
(it can be seen on the archive.is link.)
Yup you're right my bad.
Flame each other, complain in support tickets, close your Scaleway accounts, protest on all your online forums, but please.. please.. leave the poor innocent ASCII pony out of this mess! It never asked to be drawn in this world!
Indeed. ASCII pony has nothing to do with single IPv6 /128, dedicated cores not dedicated, or even ARM cloud becoming 64bit cloud. ASCII pony is about peace and happiness. Please leave them out and do not get them dirty with this.
I bet all the dedis at Online.net actually look like this
Hide it, hide it before my wife sees this!
