Dedicated Required in US
Hi,
Need this config a client's project :
Xeon E3 or Dual E55xx/E56xx
16 GB Memory (more is better)
2 x 120+ GB SSD in RAID 1
6+ TB BW @Gbps Port
IPMI/KVM
North American Location
DDoS Protection will be an added advantage, not a deal breaker though.
Budget - Waiting for good offers.
Any recommended providers/offers for production ?

Hey,
We can do the following for $89 per month:
Dual Xeon X5650 (12 cores / 24 threads]
32GB DDR3 ECC RAM
13IP Addresses
2 x 120GB SSD in RAID1
10TB Bandwidth @ 1Gbps
IDRAC Remote Access
This would be hosted in Dallas, Texas.
I can provide a test IP if you would like.
Thanks!
@mikeyur
Sorry..way out of budget, sadly
Was waiting for one of you to popup with a good offer :P
Can do it with a Dual L5630/24GB/2x120G SSD/20TB bandwidth + /29 at $69/mo. PM me on location requirements, can do this in ATL or offer you a couple different options shortly.
Okay, I understand.
We can go down to $79 per month but that's the lowest we can go.
I'm sure mikeyur will have a good offer coming your way!
Best of luck, thanks.
So that means the new locations are in the states?
Indeed
You should take a look at Delimiter, Dacentec, LetBox, WholeSaleInternet, Noxic, QuickPacket. They will be suitable for you.
WSI reliable enough for production sites?
@VyprNetworks
The network is not bad overall though they do not provide IPMI/KVM, neither upon request for few hours so you'll need to handle everything yourself via SSH.
Note: I forgot to mention QuadIX in the list too.
So new requirement update :
Dual xeon 5xxx
24GB or more memory
2x250 GB SSD raid 1
10TB @ 1Gbps
Any offers? Need to finalize by tonight.
@qps, @johnchun, @delimiter, @dacentec, @key900, @vyprnetworks ??
I didn't try dacentec but I had some experiences with wholesaleinternet, you may want to try them. Their service is good compared to price you pay for it.
Thanks for the mention but I don't have any spare SSD drives until the 26th of this month.
Damn.
Bare Metal Cloud, Seattle based.

Good luck!
Intel Xeon E3 1245 V2
24 GB DDR3 RAM
2 x 256 GB SSD
SW RAID1
1 Gbps Dedicated Port
10 TB Premium Bandwidth
/29 IP Block (5 Usable IPs)
KVM Over IP
10 Gbps DDoS Protection
NYC Metro Data Center
$79/mo + Free Setup

Sorry mate, Dual 5xxx is non negotiable:(
Any specific reason? Those processors are dinosaurs and most modern quad cores will outperform them. You also don't get all the new instruction sets, SATA 6.0 Gbps, etc, etc.

As per client's requirements. Their developer says more cores will help handle more traffic better.
Got it!
@Junkless
http://quadix.co/ix/cart.php?a=add&pid=3 - their server for $37.95
Is quadix production worthy? Heard quite a few not so good things about their support/network issues.
