REQ: abuse-notice-tolerant Xen or KVM VMs for VPN usage

I'm looking for a number of KVM (preferred) or Xen VMs for usage in a VPN product.

Paramount importance with this is that there is the understanding that abuse notices will be received, but that they will be rectified permanently and completely as soon as possible, most within a few hours. Current beta testing is yielding an abuse complaint every few days, mostly DMCA complaints for "I didn't know my roommate/cousin/sister/girlfriend/dog/plant/car was torrenting".

I would be willing to pay a bit more per month to compensate for any additional work caused on your end by needing to send us the complaints for resolution.

If you're interested in working with us, requirements are as follows:
-RAM: 512mb
-Disk: 10 GB
-Network speed: 100mbps+
-Monthly transfer: 1+ tb/month
-Location: Anywhere within the United States. Low quality networks will be expected to have a price that's commensurate with the quality of the network. You know who you are.
-DDOS "protection" must be reasonable if in use. If it's something shitty like "WANGUARD", we'll pass, thanks.
-Must have the ability to install Ubuntu 15.x from ISO. You can provide the ISO in your client area or whatever, but installation from template would not be acceptable.

Show me what you got, I want to see what you got.

  • VaporNode can offer exactly what you are looking for. Our 512MB KVM plan is priced competitively and offers all the resources you require. This VPS would be located in Phoenix, AZ, USA on the Eonix Corp network.

We also offer either Ubuntu 15.04 or 15.10 ISOs which you can install over VNC from our control panel or an external client such as TigerVNC.

We are willing to be flexible with you in regards to the abuse complaints. If you wish to speak more specifically about how we would work with you on those, feel free to contact us.

You can block P2P ports, but how do you filter web attacks or access to illegal websites? You won't be able to without either making yourself liable for traffic or worse if the other side does SSL, MITM.

Thanks, service is working well so far.

You basically answered yourself. This is why it was specified US-only, to avoid magoo EU nanny laws.

  • You will not find such a service in the US. Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Hungary, Finland, look to countries such as Norway. ☺
