OVH
I have used a VPS with OVH for over 6 months for tons of static content for 2 big sites I run, it has been super stable, fast and it's dirt cheap. And let's not forget free DDoS Protection Pro! but support with OVH is garbage, so if you need support very often you should go with Aruba Cloud.
I'm not happy with having a validation request (photo id) after using them for over a year previously. They told me it is a new policy and didn't see it as any type of thing, never mind the proportion of it.
Sending x2 photo I'd for a 2/3 euro server that is paid in advance... Not for me. I do understand what they're saying and if it was a dedicated for example.
They would not discuss any reason for this and seemed rather perplexed I questioned the request.
It feels like 'if you have nothing to hide' argument, and non compliance is seen as an 'issue'
ARUBA +1 (OVH are good enough but see above)
my account is not totally new. I'm old member since ovh cloud launched.
but i have unpaid bills before this issue. but now already paid. submit ticket, no respond. ticket #2016040719007356 .
