any mail set up scripts?

I'm one step away from commiting suicide
Was following this: http://library.linode.com/email/postfix/dovecot-mysql-debian-6-squeeze
But as it turn out they provide a dovecote 1 config.
So my question is, is there any script that installs any type of mail stack on debian? with mysql support

iRedMail? http://www.iredmail.org
TuxMail? https://github.com/Mins/TuxMail
+1 for iRedMail
So iredmail is simply a script?
That's the version in the Squeeze repos. Are you using Squeeze, and how did you install Dovecot?
apt-get install dovecot
Which would have given you Dovecot 1.2. What's the issue?
i has dovecot 2
turns out squeeze was on
So does anyone know how to remove clamav from this iredmail thing?
Then convert the v. 1 config to v. 2 format:
See http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Upgrading/2.0 for more information.
You can disable it pretty easily

I would suggest following http://workaround.org/ispmail/squeeze/ . you will really learn how mail works.
