Use an SSH client... PuTTY is nice.
EDIT: DO NOT FUCKING PM ME YOUR FUCKING PROBLEMS.
You need to create an SSH key first.

i have but whatss the root password?
u jus made my day lmao! idk what im doing. all i know is getting a vps with 60gb 2gb ram and make my own seedbox is cheaper than paying 20$ for a seedbox on a shared host
$20 seedbox will get you a lot more storage than 60gb though.
You're welcome

Dude, get some books, google search and try and figure it out on your own.
It is not that difficult.
People are not going to do any hand holding.
If there is a specific question ask it, but asking in general terms to setup a server is a bit too much.
U need small terminal application called Putty (google for it), run Putty then type in this command ssh [email protected] then when it ask for password, key in the password your vps provider emailed to you, or you can get the password thru the client portal of your vps provider.
Thats how you start with SSH...
Pls no PM.
Sigh...
Same guy? https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/77960/debian/p1
First of all: start playing on some cheap vps learning at least security, and then move to a dedicated box.
Now: you should create an ssh key in your scaleway's account.
Then, you have to download the key to your computer.
Open putty, put your ip there, and then use the menu and go to Connection>SSH>Auth.
In the field "private field for authentication", click "browse" and chose the ssh key you downloaded from your scaleway's account.
Press "open" and when prompted, give user "root".
Your box will connect to your terminal.
If you want to login via password next time, enter a password for root user:
passwd <user>
Then, open ssh config:
nano /etc/ssh/ssh_config
Find "PermitRootLogin" and change option to "Yes"
Restart ssh server:
service ssh restart
And then, you can login with password to your vps.
But this is unsecure. You should disable root user and login via sudo, if you really need password login and you cannot use ssh keys.
