Thanks to give me your atencion ,

so the problem is ... i have many hp proliants g6 and g7 and really i am verry happy whit this brand and i dont want to change for the moment . Anyone can tell me a controler compatible with proliant g6 and g7 who have ratio 6gbps sata and 12 gbps sas ? NEED THE GOOD ONE !

I need to buy at least 300 so the price/quality is verry important

Please name it here but only if is fully compatible with g6 and 67

For proliant g9 i use this HP Smart Array P440/4GB FBWC but unfortunatly is not compatible with g6 and g7 ... so need some solution.

Many thanks in advance.

It doesn't support 12Gbps SAS, only 6Gbps SAS.

You want the "Avago" LSI 9361-4/8i :) You won't find pricing like the HP P controllers for it though.

I'm not laughing at your English, I'm merely pointing out that you asked for a card that supports 6Gbps SATA which the P410 does.

Do you need the card to support 12Gbps SAS on the same machine?

It's probably your only non-HP option along with Adaptec but I don't have experience with their new line.

9361 works as does older gen LSI cards, not sure about adaptec. It's just a generic RAID card so I assume it would. Best thing is to buy one and test :)
