CeBIT 2013

Anyone going to CeBIT in Hanover this year?

If you've been before was it worth it?

  • I've thought about going but when i was there a few years ago it wasn't really impressive. There were long queues everywhere and imho most of the stuff was only interesting for salespeople and investors.

The area is nice though, you can still see some of the stuff from the Expo 2000.

Fair enough. I think I'll give it a miss...

  • Hannover is a nice city and the CeBit is also quite interesting.
The focus has developed more to businessman and trader. But there are also stands for gamers, nerds and individual people, even for families.
There were also more people from Asia (espacially China, India and Malaysia) in the last years.
Hannover is just about 100km away, so I think that I'll visit it again.

  • @svenson: Same here ;)

@gsrdgrdghd: You are right about the Expo thing ;)
Expo 2k was one of the most impressive places I have ever been to and I always love to walk around there when I am at the CeBit.
