LET is not really that far removed from WHT, in fact I would say it has become much more like it in many ways.
If the person can't be bothered or can't ask correct questions you don't get anything.
Try in your local store: just ask I want TV and don't reply on any sales assistant questions? Do you get exactly what you expected, I don't think so! This is a reason why the open ended questions exists.
@WebProject I agree with you, it was just ironic and that's what I do as well.

If the person has a budget of lowend ($7 or less), what the point is redirecting him into offer forum, I normally do redict to this forums.
As for other question, as it's impossible to advertise yourself, this is a reason why the users being redirected to offer forum, as search function on their forum is allow to find right provider for right price.
