    Hey,
I'm not aware of any "cheap" VM offerings within London, they're mostly on the outskirts or within very close proximity.

Anyhow, if latency is key here I wouldn't draw it down to London specifically as most if not all networks now back haul traffic to London.

London is London. Maybe you meant Docklands ? Then I'd agree. OP asked for London though.

I'd expect at least a few of our Customers to make an offer here some competitive offers shortly ;-).

This seems the best offer so far, thank you.

  • If you haven't found anything yet, we can do Coventry, which is around 90 miles from the centre of London. Contact us at http://hostingspecialists.co.uk if this interests you.

Not trying to be a dick, but no it isn't. There's London, it's boundaries are the North and South circular roads, and then greater London which is within the M25 ring road boundary. Within London there is the City of London and then Central London which the City of London is within. Then there's "London" aka Slough and Berkshire, which is just not within any of the boundaries.

An easier way to tell is the postcode, if it begins with N, E, S or W that tells you it's respective location in London. Central London still uses the N, E, S and W but has other letters in there such as SW, EC etc.

The Docklands is not in the City of London, but is a part of East London (denoted by the E). Enfield on the other hand is EN, which isn't London, but greater London.

Just felt the need to clear that up. ;p

I now understand why UK taxation is so high.

Is there still some jerk who DDOS's all UK LEB offers?

For a while every offer posted on LEB with a UK location was DDOS'd to death.

    Yes.

  • Not used them but I've only heard good things about HostUS

@Infinity Thanks for the through explanation. :-)

What I meant here is that the OP didn't asked for a specific part of London, the city that grows 'every year'. Enfield is in the London area, after all it's "London Borough of Enfield" :-)

It's all quite confusing because it's changed so much, but technically it isn't in London but greater London. There are a few London boroughs that are greater London. For example round me we have Havering and Redbridge both of which are London boroughs but technically the towns within are not in London, but greater London and don't have London mentioned in their addresses. I believe Enfield does have London mentioned in it's address even though it's in Greater London.

I wouldn't be that picky personally, but certainly there is no doubt about the Maidenhead and Slough lot. I think providers that claim to be in London should put the London travel fare zone they are in. ;p
