Help finding the right name!

edited February 2013 in General

So I am looking at starting a community / site for Canadian entrepreneurs and need help thinking of, and finding an available name / domain. I am looking for suggestions.

*I need a .com and .ca to be available at least.

Any help is appreciated!

    @Brandon canadianentrepeneurs . com/ca is available. :)

It might not be short, but it is easy to remember, in my opinion.

  • canovator . ca / .com

    Canadian innovator.

  • innovationlogic.com?

  • canadamoneytalk.com

  • Not sure these are available, but you can try:

    • businesspeople.ca/com
    • tycoons.ca/com
    • tycoonsworld.ca/com
    • magnates.ca/com
    • impresarios.ca/com
    • industrialists.ca/com

Pretty good domain IMO. (+ last I checked, still available.)

But it doesn't make any sense. Canada is a part of America -- more properly, The Americas -- which includes the continents of North and South America. The Arctic Ocean is 'north of America' ;)

    northofunitedstat.ca sounds weird :P

  • I still think America's Hat wins all. But that's of course just me.

When was the last you've looked at a map? NA includes Canada, US, and Mexico. South America is essentially everything south of that.

That being, it makes perfect sense.

Sigh, no it doesn't -- unless you take "America" to mean "the United States of America". Which is wrong. The name "America" was used to identify the lands of South and North America long before the USA existed.

But if it makes sense to you, be happy. Just don't be rude.

  • The proposed domain name was northOFameri.ca

  • In any case, Canada is still north of America in this context
