I'm shopping around for a dedicated server to possibly test out my idea.

I'm looking for a dedicated server meeting these criteria:

  • North America, west coast weakly preferred
  • Xeon E3-1230v3 or better
  • 4 SSDs (at least 100GB each) in SW RAID 10
  • /27 IPv4 subnet (or at least 16 usable IPs)
  • 1Gbps preferred (can be metered). 100Mbps unmetered is okay too.

    Oops, forgot to mention. Ceiling is around $120. If it hits all the points I may be able to shell out more :)

    Side note: I was looking into OVH but they don't offer SSDs as an add-on :(

    Unfortunately it looks like there isn't an option for my SSD RAID setup :(

    If you want to group buy some dedis, I can give you preferred monthly pricing on 4+ E5420s, with or without a /29. Forget splitting the node, just give everyone their own dedi :P

    See if you can split any of these up for some dedicated resource VPS's: https://cc.delimiter.com/cart/dedicated-servers/

    We also offer a free Virtualizor 3 VPS license with each server. The L5630 may be good if you need the extra threads (8c/16t), and a bump to 48GB Ram is $10/mo.
