I have two offer from a provider in EU .

1 :

Fujitsu Primergy RX300S5
2x Xeon E5520
128GB DDR3 RAM

2

HP-ProLiant-BL465-G6
2x-AMD-Opteron-Hexa-Core
32GB DDR3 RAM
and
HP-ProLiant-BL460c-G6
2x-Intel-Xeon-E5540
48GB DDR3 RAM

both of them are costing me same. but which offer to take ?

    So you are going to have a 16 slot chassis being powered for 1 blade? Not worth the OPEX. Cost of operation of C7000 chassis only works when its full

    Fujitsu stuff I wouldn't use, they never sold well and therefore spare parts for these EOL units is going to be difficult.

  • No but you'll burn through any saving with such a power hungry chassis in minutes
