WSI Preconfigured servers RAID support
Looking at the Dual Xeon 5150 Preconfigured, not sure if I could set up a SW raid with those 2 disks.
p.s. Yes I know they are pre-configured and cannot be modified.

You should have no issues, it comes with 2x 500gb hdd.
Here is a link to setup raid 1 on a debian linux with a running system: https://www.howtoforge.com/software-raid1-grub-boot-debian-etch

Thx, searching for the Fedora/centos7 version.
Here is one a little generalized for any distro of linux: http://www.tecmint.com/create-raid1-in-linux/
You can do fresh vnc centos install - http://www.houseoflinux.com/installation/how-to-remote-install-centos-6-via-vnc/ (thanks @edan who shared this way to do that).
Done that on their $10 server with additional disk without any problems.
Oh wow silly me for not thinking about this too, all along I was asking Datashack for a custom partition when I've installed VMs on it via VNC, will try this out on my dev server
I know right lol I can't believe I didn't think of that
