You must be fast since SSDs have disks... "20 GB SSD Disk Space"? I also see that the grammar is TOP NOTCH and OpenVZ? The fastest servers are physical dedicated servers.
u can post dd test?
@doghouch i took out the disk space does that make you happy
No IPv6 and can't even get over a gigabit on the lg files, gotta be careful making these sorts of claims on LET...
If you are gonna push your performance, at least provide benchmarks and node specs.
@linuxthefish yes we limited the test file. I will post performance results here in a few. Never had a single customer come up and ask for IPv6. If I had people asking for it I would add them in.
@linuxthefish
Here are the server specs.
CPU Type: 2 x Hexa-Core Xeon E5-2620 v3 2.4 GHz w/HT
Server Memory: 64GB
Hard Drive Configuration:
512 GB SSD RAID 10
512 GB SSD RAID 10
512 GB SSD RAID 10
512 GB SSD RAID 10
RAID Configuration: Hardware RAID 10 w/BBU
@shovenose
here is your DD test
536870912 bytes (537 MB) copied, 0.682469 s, 787 MB/s
I think they mean you need to know what you're talking about.
As @linuxthefish said, he can't pull a gig on the speed test. You might want to ask about the switch you are on, if it is congested. Especially if you are going to push speed as a niche.
Also, from this:
You are at : DimeNOC, Orlando, FL - DC2
I came up with the DimeNOC name myself when working there, good times. But they aren't just known as USA.Orlando.
Almost feels like you copied it from a SolusVM panel, when noted that way.
Do you offer IPv6 addresses?
@elgs Not at this time. I can look into it but have not had any customers ask for it yet. so have not messed with them.
