How does this compare to Psych's decent protection?
That's a good question; I've never had first-hand experience with their protection. They're a great group of guys and gals, so I'd imagine you'd be happy with their service offerings.
Though I can tell you our level of protection only consist of one of the best appliances out there, Radware. And because we've chosen this partner we can offer many solutions from detect & mitigate to always on or even dedicated appliance protection.
If you go to Radware's website http://www.radware.com/ and you scroll towards the footer you can learn more about their customer base, and the enterprise companies which have selected them for the best protection possible.
We have virtually tested all appliances out there and invested many resources before choosing Radware as our partner.
As a friendly reminder, all dedicated servers do include up to 3Gbps of detect & mitigate protection and we're Radware's exclusive Los Angeles partner.
Those who've purchased and witnessed attacks, can share their experience.
Their "detect and mitigate" kicks in faster than nodewatch, it's blocked a few attacks we didn't even know about (Observium didn't even see the traffic before they mitigated the attack). We've only had one nullroute so far and that was an attack that peaked at 3.1Gbps but the e-mail alerts worked great and it was automatically removed without any manual intervention on our part (and we have the ability to add and remove nullroutes if we want to).
Do you have VPS packages as well?
Thanks for sharing your experience, glad to hear that QuadraNet VEST DDoS Protection is working well for you.
We sincerely appreciate your trust, loyalty and business!
Sure, we have InfraCloud available from $5.81/month https://www.quadranet.com/infracloud/
The InfraCloud included this DDoS Protection by default?
Good question - yes, it most definitely does!
Vouch for QN's protection to the level specified, afaik they null route afterwards.
Always be hesitant on a provider that is using a DDoS Hardware provider - it's not just as simple as having an appliance, you have to also make sure the techs are competent enough to create rules and manage it...
If QN sold upgrades for this and expanded it to Miami or (in the future) Atlanta - I'd love to try it out further.
Liking the look of NEO - a breath of fresh air from the old Ubersmith default layout... well done QN (the sidebar is still annoying - but it's a damn sight better than the old layout).
