Note: I have no exp what so ever hosting an game server so my opinion are based on general DDOS protection.

OVH have started rolling out some of the filters they had on their gameservers, to pro mitigation. I had an attack mitigated for me yesterday, and it was 10 seconds or so of lag, then nothing as OVH mitigated the attack very well.
