Yes, we are using SoftLayer in Singapore. It shouldn't be hard to setup the relay, all it needs are a few more lines in the postfix configuration file. Let us know if you need any help.

Did you enable TUN/TAP from the panel (settings tab)?

@AlexanderM make a "How to adjust postfix" at Knowledgebase, that will be great, you don't have to answer all the weird tickets.

Thanks Alex, but I was able to do it just fine and was able to get Elasticemail running fairly quickly on the domains that needed it. I set up a solid, secure cpanel box and you don't want to be screwing around with smtp relays and the like, so when I got the notice I was rather annoyed to say the least.

No problems with my Sydney instance, it runs fantastically well and I am a very happy customer. Rest assured I will get another VPS from you somewhere with you to move my dnsonly/secondaryMX box with you. SG might be good for that, and possibly another box for mail gateway duties that is not in Softlayer.

Could you please provide a traceroute to me via PM? I'm aware SoftLayer has peering in SEA / Seattle.

    For those getting bad routes

No, we are unable to adjust the routes and upstreams. They are what they are.
