Do the servers come with power on?

By the way, you could have just skipped the entire promo and posted the girl without the brand name visible.

  • Got a server from them, just to try it out. So slow that it literally took 5 minutes just to get into SSH. (Not an exaggeration, if anything an underestimate).

Now you've got access to SSH.. Run a bench and post the results..

Yeah isn't their network pure garbage?

  • agoldenbergagoldenberg Member, Host Rep

Wow! 49.50 USD as a Canadian Company..... also charging HST in USD as a Canadian Company.... for $49.50 CAD I would try them out but in USD fuck that! $80 a month for an unknown processor on a shit network? No thanks.

tried this host. such unreliable network, zero to no support.
fyi, they got hacked and some vpses were wiped b/c of that.
    STAY FAR AWAY.

  • Good luck with their "1 hour support response".

  • You wouldn't mind her responding to your tickets, would you.

He lied, probably trying to rebuild his shattered reputation (cough cough AthenaLayer cough OrcaHub cough Nalsec cough DDoS-protection.io - all with the same META author: Nick the Idiot) :d

one thing... don't buy anything at all from cloudatcost. You will regret it, and you will cry.

  • You want low IOPS?

Because CloudAtCost is how you get such.

Went to benchmark, not happening it seems. FS locked, will not remount.

    [root@localhost ~]# mount -o remount,rw /
mount: cannot remount block device /dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_root read-write, is write-protected

    That's a shame.

I have a few vms with them since I was like "ehh, I can pay once and have them forever, what could be so bad...." Well, lets just say I have never used them and I cry at my 5MB/s IO speed.

Isn't that what everyone does with their VPSes? :)

These were the one-time-payment VPS-for-life people, weren't they?

  • I use my CAC as a VPN, works fine. I only paid $17.5 after all.
