Looking for UK NAT IPv4 VPS for VPN - 500GB +

NekkiNekki Veteran
edited January 2016 in General

Hello folks,

I'm looking for a lovely little NAT IPv4 VPN for a friend. Bandwidth needs to be in excess of 500GB (1TB or more would be ideal) as he travels a lot and spends a lot of time in hotel rooms watching TV.

Happy to pay yearly, reputable providers only please :-)

  • Can @AnthonySmith make a deal?

  • I think @quadhost has this product?

They do a NAT product, but nowhere near the b/w level I need.

If 12 GPB is an acceptable price...

    http://www.direvps.com/

It's OpenITC so it should be decent.

Edit: and you could also check if ArubaCloud is geolocated to the UK, although I doubt it and would be very recent for databases to be updated anyway.

  • Well if you are going to choose one with a IPv4, have a look at my site or at the GestionDBI offer I posted if 500GB are enough (see my sig).

I'll swerve them, pretty sure they're arseholes.

That's a great amount of b/w, I'll pass that one on, cheers.

500GB might just about do it, and he's already a GestionDBI customer so that might make him happy, will pass it on.

their UK DC/IPs do indeed work very well as VPN for watching tv and such ;-)

    ComingSoon™ ComingVerySoon™
IPv6 only is already live but being discontinued shortly for the more popular NAT platform.

What figure do you have in mind?

An old LET favourite is coming to London, and yes it has all the trimmings for VPN's.
A bundle/pool will also be available for those that want to have multiple locations to utilise.

    HostUS UK

2TB bandwidth in London on 10Gbps shared port for $17/year (£11.85).

Or the same node in other locations, $12/year. Works fine for me, performs pretty well

If anyone has any questions about the features/FUP before ordering just open up a sales ticket.

(*~100mbps standard | ^~subject to fair usage policies)

We can go higher than 100mbps if required with a use case. Unmetered ports have been offered on the NAT range since the beginning, with only a handful of suspensions due to FUP Abuse.

Enfield, same as our non NAT range.

Why not go with a cheap VPN provider instead? Anyways, Arubacloud is probably your best bet

    Have you got haproxy setup?

That's more expensive and less fun.

Which in LET speak could mean Kent, Docklands or Enfield. I like to know which.

What about digitalocean London? https://status.digitalocean.com/ He can kill the VM if he doesn't like it.

  • Cheers for the options, I've passed them onto the man himself to decide. Will let you know where he goes.

  • No need. You said he goes travelling.

Not at this time, not many clients have requested access to one. We can look at integrating one if it is requested.

I have a feeling many of them use Cloudflare as a 6>4 proxy.
