Not at all. This is the LOWEND market. Biggest change your getting is DDR4 and 1Gbit.

With pricing like that, hopefully it pushes others to drop their drawers. Since that is MSRP the channel will be more in line.
EDIT : I was looking at the KC400
Anyone know how reliable Kingston's SSDs actually are?
Stopped buying Kingston products after having all sorts of issues with their valueram series.
I have an older HyperX 240gb in my desktop at home, it is a few years old. The only SSD I have ever had an issue with was a really old 64GB WesternDigital thing when they first started with SSD. I bought the Kingstons when I was testing out SSD years ago with FastPath on an LSI 9271, the LSI didn't like the drive, but that was like a dozen firmware's ago
For me Kingston has always been very good as RAM manufacturer, haven't used their SSDs much yet.
I've put one of their disks in my Finances laptop at home, around a year old and doing fine.
