We are committed to quality and OpenVZ is not quality
Right... That's a pretty clear indication that you have no idea the differences between the different virtualization technologies offered...
OpenVZ VPS on this forum is much associated with mass overselling and instability due to the fact that OpenVZ is container-based virtualization and a environment that is mass oversold causes issues where neighboring VPSes pack the node and cause issues for everyone.
Sure, there are many hosting providers such as RamNode and BuyVM that offer stable OpenVZ VPS hosting, but my previous post was a bit of a generalization to OVZ VPSes that are offered here. I apologize for any confusion
No smaller yearly kvm plans for the chicago location?
Isn't singlehhop ssl certs only can be used on the singlehop network? Even lax location gets a free ssl cert?
OVZ shouldn't be associated with mass overselling. Don't bash what you don't understand.
Where is Psychz Plan?
Isn't the alphassl provided by ainglehop is only 1 year? Did they increase it to 3 years now?
My question how are you going to offer ssl certs on pyshz network, that should only be used on singlehops network only?
There is technically no official policy that has been publicly published, however the free SSLs that they offer are not meant to be abused the way that other providers have abused them in the past .. which we have absolutely no intention of doing.
Minus the fact they've punished multiple people and revoked the SSL's because of out-of-network usage. They've stated multiple times that they're to be used within their own network only.
Now that you've mentioned this, you know there's going to be people reporting you, right?
Francisco
Thank you for pointing this out. I just gave SingleHop a call and they just verified this, so I've gone ahead and removed the wildcard SSL freebie from the LAX VPS offers. Instead, anyone from LET that orders a VPS in LAX with us will be given a one free Comodo PositiveSSL standard certificate.
We apologize for the misunderstanding
Good work.
Francisco
Blame that on companies like GVH and these companies that appear out of nowhere on LET. 1 server wonders.
OpenVZ isn't the problem, abusive owners are and kids with no admin skills.
I can show KVM that is as bad or worse. Lack o' skills again.
I looked in search and noticed companies who did this prior. Scam much?
No ssd or ssd cached disks?
No, we are not in the business of scamming people. SingleHop does offer 3 year SSL certificates, you just need to submit a ticket for it and they'll generate a 3 year for you
Not at this time
Nothing wrong with overselling if you monitor it. Your basically saying you don't have time or patience to learn OVZ
Ordered one, at least spec is good for the price.
terrible io:
dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=4k oflag=dsync
4096+0 records in
4096+0 records out
268435456 bytes (268 MB) copied, 204.28 s, 1.3 MB/s
dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=8k count=256k conv=fdatasync
262144+0 records in
262144+0 records out
2147483648 bytes (2.1 GB) copied, 34.7513 s, 61.8 MB/s
BTW, unixbench score is 485.2 for KVM 2 plan.
Doesn't look like Virtio is enabled
The client should have the ability to enable Virtio in there cp , if not we would be glad to enable it
Stating 32 cores is very misleading, surely that should be amended... 32 threads isn't 32 cores...
Also,
Shouldn't you have a full stop at the end of that sentence?
*questions - You should probably proof read your adverts?
This supplier evaluation is poor in China
