Do you plan to sell this business when you'll get enough clients like you did with Fliphost?
Why post plans without any stock?
You are very much mistaken
That was my mistake. I have removed the plan that sold out. Thanks for pointing it out
From LEB
Many of you may remember Alex from his first company, Fliphost. Fliphost always maintained a pretty good reputation and it was sold to someone who keeps it running nicely
By mistaken I mean for my reasons selling my previous company. It was not sold because I "got enough clients" as you put it. It was sold to further what I created with the assistance of a larger company. Due to some lack of knowledge when I originally started Fliphost decisions I made did not scale well as it grew. Keep in mind I ran Fliphost for 3 years by myself and then remained with it for a year after joining QF. I never just "dropped it".
I put everything I learned from my past experience into this new venture and it has proven to perform better than Fliphost did after 3 years in less than 4 months (coming on a year now). I have no intention of selling and have every intention of expanding and I think you will like what I have coming up in the future.
Hope that helps to answer your question.
That's nice to hear!
@Awmusic12635 Any word on NYC location (or any new locations)?
Still loving my VDR4 plan, but could use another location to spin up instances in.
Edit: Also: do I need to ticket for the double credit thing?
I had issues with the developer and am currently getting a quote from a new one.
Yes you need to ticket
Done deal. Love the service, keep it up
2nd location ever?
The only thing it is waiting on is some development on our module to allow it. As I mentioned above we had some issues with our last developer so we are contracting a new one to make it happen.
And to be fair to Alex, his services in fliphost was excellent and rock-solid. I have two plans with them since Alex's era, for over 2,5 years. Both of the servers have uptime since the day I did my final setup to them (~590 days the first, ~650 days the second, boith used as backup servers).
The succesors of Alex are doing the same good job, founder did.
And AFAIK, his new venture is also very good.
I love resource pools. Is it possible to ensure vps on different host nodes to plan around host-level outage?
Ticket maybe?
I'm still waiting on Wable to roll this out from their voted features page.
Ticket maybe?
Not at this time though I do like the idea.
