European VPSes that support PPP on OpenVZ
hello,
do you know of any EU providers that offer ppp on OpenVZ so that I can use PPPT VPN to allow Android and iOS to connect to the server via the integrated function on both the mobile OS?
OpenVPN is somehow troublesome because the clients need to install it and requires root access on Android.
I'm mostly interested in Prometeus. I'm asking here cause I'm sure I'm gonna get answers directly from users that probably do the same

I use httpzoom to do the same thing. VPSslim seem to from todays offer on LEB, and I'm fairly sure InceptionHost do too.
Thank you all
@Maounique I tried that on my current US VPS, how do you also make Internet work? I can only ping the local IPs
so I would assume prometeus does support it
We support it on both of our platforms
i think all support it but i used it on UGVps UK and prometeus from EU.
We support it on all our services. UK & GER are our EU locs.
thank you @PhilND and @GetKVN_Ash
URPad.com
@CurtisMann
If you follow that tutorial it should work without any other change. That is done exactly so it does not need any other tweaks.
It is confirmed working on prometeus, buyvm, ugvps, securedragon and many others i dont remember.
I would reinstall os and start over with enable/disable ppp
with the exception of those hosts using Linux V-server for virtualization which does not support it (list of hosts here http://linux-vserver.org/VServer_Hosting)
Most hosts using openvz/kvm/xen support it.
ALL hosts using Xen/KVM support it, tho some might forbid VPN, however the capabilities exist.
OVZ needs some tweaks that most ppl have and on vserver doesnt work except with ssh vpn.
Its a bit fiddly to setup, however normally the problems are on the host node.
UK, USA (east/west coast) and Germany. PPTP and OpenVPN supported:

Linux vServer supports TUN.
