I just feel compelled to give you a hug.

No worries, my grandparents have been gone for a long time now! The main point is you always have to be ready to take a hit when things get bad :)

  • You could die unexpected just right now. Or go on vacation forever like a few people here.

Taking hits is like shits. After it's over you're more than happy.

  • Not sure comparing death to defecating makes mourning people happy, but the after it's over part is usually right.

Well, I just wanted to say that after you took the hit of making loss it's usually getting better.

The death reference was just for the lulz

OK, how much do you earn from 1 sale?

I think not more then $0.5, then you make 100 sales per day? wow you great

tell me how you promote please.

You assume that everyone is in a race to the bottom in prices, there's still quite a large market for 'premium' services.

well, if you want to do "premium" service, then you need to buy better bandwidth & hire staff, this needs money.

  • @lewissue in your poll, what does the "I'm a troller" refer to. You or me?

The reason I ask is that I answered it as if it was referring to me.

Sorry to hear that. But customer doesn't know about our private life. Heck, some even think that we don't have a life. So if you're going away for a while. Hire someone to get his/her hands dirty. I'm a web designer and I've experienced this feeling.

Even when I was in hospital, even after I informed some of my freelancer clients that I'm in the hospital. Some effing client were calling me and asked about his web site status. (Not to forget he haven't even paid the down payment at the moment)

Nevermind IPs. When I was young we used to hijack the whole internet and rent it out to porn companies for a lot more than that because we charged by the foot. Tell kids that nowadays and they don't believe you.

You need to re-consider your business model, I mean come on that $0.5 from each sale will be eaten up in unexpected fees and currency fluctuations unless you are constantly changing your pricing.

Reduce monthly fees, buy hardware and IP's outright as soon as you have enough cash.

or someone might chargeback the $0.50 and you'll incur $25-50 fee depending on who your payment provider is :)

well, one time fee is fee, isn't it? and btw, this $1.65 vps in signature earns me $0.5, but $3.15 one earns me $1
