I been a customer for less than a month. The LA network is pretty rock solid. The ever changing pricing and plans is crazy. Things are broken on their solus vm panel. I won't open a ticket about it these things should be working in the first place. Overall they provide a service that is humm OK. I think priority should of shifted from expansion but grow out a location one at time and pay attention to details. But that just my opinion.

I really appreciate the feedback, were tackling the SolusVM problems as they come feel free to PM me the issues your having ill be sure to hit them head on ASAP. As for pricing now that we've added all our locations and hardware, the pricing should stay pretty firm.

  • I can vouch for @IgniteServers customer service. I was very pleased with how I was treated.

In London do you use Virtus Data Centre?
    What happened with Canada locations?

Yes we use London 1/Enfield. Also we discontinue our Canada location due to us having hardware placed in Ashburn, VA.

Now the worst openVZ provider I have - stay far away from these guys.

My uk openVZ VPS -Load ave at idle

    top - 14:11:34 up 5 days, 14:01, 1 user, load average: 1.48, 1.48, 1.51
    Tasks: 20 total, 1 running, 19 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
    Cpu(s): 0.0%us, 0.0%sy, 0.0%ni,100.0%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
    Mem: 131072k total, 68244k used, 62828k free, 0k buffers

    Why does this happen?

    1 core means - 1 shared core at 327mhz.

    [root@uk ~]# cat /proc/cpuinfo
    processor : 0
    vendor_id : GenuineIntel
    cpu family : 6
    model : 58
    model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 V2 @ 3.30GHz
    stepping : 9
    microcode : 25
    cpu MHz : 327.978

    I/O on ploop is

    [root@uk ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=iotest bs=64k count=66k conv=fdatasync && rm -fr iotest
    6144+0 records in
    6144+0 records out
    402653184 bytes (403 MB) copied, 200.618 s, 2.0 MB/s

    iops

    --- / (ext4 /dev/ploop****p1) ioping statistics ----
    10 requests completed in 21.9 s, 0 iops, 3.1 KiB/s
    min/avg/max/mdev = 831.5 ms / 1.3 s / 1.8 s / 298.0 ms

When customer service was asked why cpu was changed from 1 core at 3300mhz to 1 core at 327mhz the response was:

As for your CPU it looks like your CPU was just updated to actually use 1vCPU as your plan is supposed to use.

    EDIT:
Disk space was reduced from 25GB to 10GB and NIC speed from 1gb to 100mb .
