Free open source email hosting script?
For 2 hours now I've been looking for an email hosting script sort of like squirrelmail but it needs to have a registration system so anybody can use it without me having to manually create their mail account. If any body knows of something like that please let me know. thank you

I'm interested in the same system.
Let me know when you get this up and running. I've been looking for a new host to send 10,000 emails an hour from.
Some simple PHP/MySQL could do it, better yet, use VestaCP and it's API.
Im using WebMail Lite is pretty damn great.

You can add many imap accounts to check emails on same place,
But again, can Webmail lite allow to create accounts without admin's approval? Not pretty sure how would that work.
INstall mailcow and create your own registration page, copying the code from the new email creation page... probably the fatest way! you might want to edit mailcow first for security purpose...
There is http://hivemail.com/ but it's old, outdated and definitely not recommended if you are not ready to fix some bugs.
yes it can, there is an option in admin panel.
or users must have account or when a user login an account is created.
b1gmail does this, the english is however sub par and it had some security issues in the past.
